Super Power Squirrel Facts

–Have you ever seen squirrels running around like their tails are on fire. They zig and zag all over the place. It actually is for a reason. They run like that in order to avoid predators like hawks, owls, cats, coyotes, and other squirrel hunters.
–Made you look! Squirrels will pretend to bury food, but then actually bury it somewhere else. That way, thieves will only dig up dirt and not the acorn or other treat the squirrel was trying to save for winter. (Bonus: The buried nuts they forget about grow up to be more trees. Ya-hoo!)
–They eat nuts, seeds, roots, and leaves, and also smaller critters like caterpillars and other insects.
